Two department heads of the Kurdistan Technical Covenant represented the institute in the Kezi meeting for women academics and leaders of higher education institutions

The Ministry of Higher Education and Scientific Research held a meeting with officials from universities and scientific institutions in the Kurdistan Region on Sunday 15/2/2026 in Erbil

The aim of the Kezi Meeting for Academic Women by the Ministry of Higher Education and Scientific Research is to discuss the role of women in leading higher education institutions, the role of women in the process of skills building and innovation, and the role of women in research and development.

The meeting was chaired by Dr. Aram Mohammed Qadir, Minister of Higher Education and Scientific Research and the presence of women in universities and higher education institutions and discussed the role of women in leading higher education institutions, the role of women in the process of skills building and innovation.

The recommendations and proposals were prepared in a draft and will be used as a basis for public policy reform in order to further strengthen the role and influence of women in universities and higher education institutions.
