Glass bricks or glass blocks application  in interior design!

Glass bricks or glass blocks are made of glass used for walls, which allows light to be seen and transmitted, on the other hand gives a beautiful appearance to our building, these glass walls separate the rooms without preventing the transmission of light.

It is usually used for walls, floors and any other place we like to use for decoration.

• Glass block properties :

1. They are usually between 2 and 3 inches thick, and transmit less light than ordinary glass windows.

2. Can be made in different shapes, sizes and patterns.

• Disadvantages:

1. Not safe for earthquakes.

2. If it comes into contact with spit, it will collapse.

3. Glass block is a brittle material.

4. The process of making glass need a very high temperature, which requires a lot of energy.
